Community Midwives

Work with doctors to provide care for women during pregnancy and after delivery and care for the baby for the first 4 weeks of its life.

Community Nurses

Provide nursing care for the housebound and convalescent patients. Messages for these nurses can be left by phoning them on 0300 300 7777

Health Visitors

Visit all families with children under 5. They are particularly expert in child care and development and should be contacted directly on 0116 215 3207 in such matters. They provide information, advice, and support to all age groups, especially in times of stress.  Alternatively you could text the CHAT HEALTH Parent line for confidential advice on 075 206 153 82

Macmillan Nurse - Liz Higham Visits and cares for patients with cancer in their home and gives advice/support to their families.
